Stretch-Chair

While constructing a stretchchair, one of the most important aspects is the ability of the chair to handle the load. In the stretchchair, the maximum load is suffered by the wheels. Hence, a major challenge is to see whether wheels can attain the load. We need to make sure that the load and stress are minima on each wheel.

While calculating, we have assumed certain things to the maximum such as the weight of a human is 100 kg, angle made by backrest frame and leg frame are 20 degrees and 10 degrees in setting position. The calculation also includes , force required for the struts. Calculations have been made on struts near the leg rest. The load will again get divided if the number of struts are increased or decreased.
